Legal Support (Funding)
Mary Ward House is committed to empowering community groups by providing financial support for legal claims and initiatives that promote fairness, justice, and equity. Recognising that access to legal resources can be a significant barrier for grassroots organisations and vulnerable communities, we offer funding to help bridge this gap. Whether supporting campaigns for social justice, advocating for marginalised groups, protecting our heritage, or assisting in legal challenges that seek to improve public policy and decision making, our funding and subsidised venue hire ensures that those working towards societal betterment have the necessary resources to pursue their cause effectively.
By subsidising legal support, we enable community organisations to challenge injustices, protect rights, influence positive change within society and protect our Heritage and Conservation Area’s. This initiative is rooted in the belief that access to justice should not be dictated by financial constraints. From planning disputes and environmental advocacy to equality legislation and human rights cases, our support aims to help community-led initiatives take meaningful action.
